Our law office is shaped by the people who make it up. We encourage all employees to actively participate in the development of our firm. We promote our employees in various ways:
We have a weekly exchange on cooperation and specialist topics between assistants and lawyers. There is also a strategy day once a year, where the assistants think about how they want to develop the firm and their work outside of day-to-day business.
We promote all legal seminars that help to professionalize you and us, such as courses on foreclosure. At the same time, each employee receives an additional topic in which she is trained as a specialist for the firm. You choose this topic together with us. Examples would be: foreclosure, organization of events, social media, key users for the software used or tasks in accounting.
We also offer our employees the opportunity to complete the additional qualification “Trainer Aptitude (AEVO)” and the certified “Specialist for Project Organization & Office Management”. In addition, we promote online courses to become a social media manager, digital workspace manager or data protection manager, as the tasks in the law firm and the professional field of assistance in general are constantly evolving.

You will be involved in current client work right from the start, have direct client contact and take part in meetings and video conferences with our clients. At lunchtime at the latest, we meet for a daily exchange over a meal together – if you like.
We give you the freedom to develop your potential. Managing exciting mandates at a high level is not a nine-to-five job. You can rely on us to provide you with space for family and leisure.
We support the relevant specialist lawyer courses and further training that help you to professionalize your skills. In addition, there are regular formats in which all lawyers and partners exchange views on specialist and non-specialist topics – including the annual strategy days, where we take time out from our day-to-day business to shape the development of the law firm together.
You will quickly have the opportunity to work directly for our clients. We accompany you from the very beginning on your way from being an excellent expert to a sought-after consultant. Our aim is to develop you into a partnership. To this end, we begin to outline a plan with you in the third year of the activity at the latest and implement appropriate measures together.
As an alternative to partnership, we can offer individual models to suit your particular phase of life. We offer communication at eye level, humor and all sorts of things that make working more enjoyable.
Training as a paralegal (m/f/d)
We like to train! Many of our employees have completed their training at Bartsch Rechtsanwälte.
Do you enjoy working with people, are you responsible and like to organize? Are you familiar with working with computers and are you interested in legal issues? Then training at Bartsch Rechtsanwälte is just the right thing for you! We offer you a varied working environment in which teamwork is required.
You are the first point of contact for clients, communicate with authorities and courts and are responsible for file management and time management. As a paralegal, you are the foundation of our law firm. Vocational training lasts three years. You can shorten the training period to two years if you have a high school diploma (Abitur), advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or commercial college (Höhere Handelsschule).
After completing your training, you will have excellent prospects at Bartsch. Depending on your inclination, we offer various opportunities for further qualification, for example as a certified specialist in project and office management, the trainer aptitude test (AEVO), online courses to become a social media manager or a key user for central software applications. Training starts on September 1 or a few months earlier by arrangement.
How are paralegals supported?

Are English language skills required in the assistance area?
The majority of our clients communicate in German. With increasing internationalization, we will promote foreign language skills.
What can trainee lawyers and interns expect?
You will be involved in current client work right from the start. At lunchtime at the latest, you will take part in the daily exchange over a shared meal, so that you can quickly grow into the team. You will also have a personal mentor and work primarily in the areas of law of your choice. In addition, you will always be given tasks from all other areas in order to gain as much insight as possible into the working world of a lawyer.
