Certified executor

The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Testamentsvollstreckung und Vermögenssorge (AGT) e.V. has awarded our colleague, attorney Dr. Stephanie Funk, the authority to use the title “Certified Executor of Wills (AGT)”.

She has been with Bartsch Rechtsanwälte since 2011. The title underlines her expertise in the field of inheritance law and is also an addition to the title of specialist lawyer for inheritance law, which she has held since 2009. It demonstrates special theoretical and practical knowledge that underlines the ability to take over the execution of wills.

We congratulate Dr. Stephanie Funk and are delighted for her!

6th Regional Conference on the Mobility Transition at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center

How we deal with the issue of mobility will be decisive for our future.

We have taken up this topic and are pleased to participate as an exhibitor at the 6th Regional Conference Mobility Transition, which will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, all day at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center under the theme “Mobility Transition in Municipal Reality”.

Bartsch Attorneys at Law at the B2Run in Karlsruhe

This year, 8,500 participants took part in the B2Run in Karlsruhe. Bartsch Rechtsanwälte was also present this year. Under a bright blue sky and sunshine, the run covered a distance of 5.4 km through the castle garden and around the castle garden lake. A great event that we will be attending again next year.

We are already looking forward to the next run in the region – the Bergdorfmeile on 30.06.2023!

Karlsruhe Expert Forum convenes

“It is not legal arguments, but technical know-how that decides the legal dispute” – this provocative thesis proves to be true in numerous construction lawsuits, which are often less about legal issues than about construction details and technically complex contexts. The work of court-appointed experts is therefore of particular importance in these proceedings. Our partner Alexander Hoff gave the opening lecture at this year’s annual conference and highlighted the particular challenges for the parties involved in the proceedings when it comes to dealing with technical issues in court proceedings.

A big thank you to the organizers, especially the Fachverband Glas Fenster Fassade Baden-Württemberg, for the professional preparation and implementation and a compliment to all the live and online listeners for the committed discussion and the first-class contributions.

Making city centers more attractive – but how?

The IHK Karlsruhe organized a symposium on this topic on 22.11.2022, at which our partner, lawyer Dr. Alexander Hoff, gave a lecture.

Dying retail trade, precarious housing situations, neglected building fabric and deficiencies in safety and order – many municipalities complain that their city centers are affected. What to do?

Alexander Hoff outlined the legal options available to stop the decline and make city centers more attractive. The audience was particularly interested in the possibility of improving the attractiveness of certain neighbourhoods through self-organized neighbourhood communities of owners and also taking advantage of government assistance.

A big thank you to the IHK’s real estate and location development working group for taking on this important topic of inner city design!

Real estate and city centers – IHK Karlsruhe event

What are the prospects for inner-city commercial units? Vacant retail spaces, falling visitor numbers in city centers and deserted town centers – the pandemic has greatly accelerated this transformation process.

“If Mary and Joseph had known!” Short presentations by Bartsch Rechtsanwälte

On 10.11.2022, our new short lecture series on employment law entitled “If Mary and Joseph had known! Employment law under the Christmas tree” at the Buhlsche Mühle in Ettlingen. The six-person team, consisting of attorneys Ina Bender, Diana Lipska and Alexandra Steg as well as attorneys Dr. Alexander Hoff, Dr. Reinhard Möller and Dr. Gerhard Wagner, presented current and exciting topics in employment law in a cozy atmosphere. The special feature here was not only the unusual presentation format, but also the parallel to the Christmas story, which was skillfully drawn by the speakers in their presentations and provided smiles and laughter in many places. The audience not only enjoyed a highly informative evening, but also an entertaining, cozy and relaxed atmosphere in a wintery, pre-Christmas mood. Thanks to the cold temperatures of the evening, the first mulled wine of the year in the outdoor area tasted particularly good for many guests.

We are already looking forward to our “Anglühen” next year and hope that we can not only inspire our guests again, but also enchant them!
