“It is not legal arguments, but technical know-how that decides the legal dispute” – this provocative thesis proves to be true in numerous construction lawsuits, which are often less about legal issues than about construction details and technically complex contexts. The work of court-appointed experts is therefore of particular importance in these proceedings. Our partner Alexander Hoff gave the opening lecture at this year’s annual conference and highlighted the particular challenges for the parties involved in the proceedings when it comes to dealing with technical issues in court proceedings.<\/p>\n\n
